PRF Training - Platelet Rich Fibrin
LONDON's ONLY - Platelet Rich Fibrin Training Course (PRF) for both medical and non-medical students!
Booking this ONE DAY course is the starting point for most of our students. Throughout the course you will look at the theory behind PRF and will be given the opportunity to develop your practical skills using the most up to date techniques and equipment. You will receive the Certificate of Completion.
Here are 4 reasons why you should introduce PRF treatment in your practice.
1. PRF IS 100% NATURAL.
PRF is a treatment that involves the use of your body’s own platelets, which is one of this treatment’s most unique qualities. The treatment begins with a blood draw. The blood is then spun in a centrifuge, which separates out the PRF (platelet rich fibrin).
2. GROWTH FACTORS IN PRF ARE PATIENT's OWN ANTI-AGING TREATMENT.
The growth factors found in PRF are key to helping reverse the telltale signs of aging. It has a higher concentration of platelets, fibrin, and white blood cells, along with a small amount of stem cells. The platelets attach to the fibrin network and release the growth factors that are responsible for creating new skin cells, collagen, and blood vessels. The growth factors in PRF are also released slower than in PRP, which provides the added bonus of a longer lasting anti-aging treatment!
3. PRF CAN BE USED ANYWHERE ON THE BODY AND FACE.
PRF has been used in the medical field to promote faster healing following surgical procedures, such as bone grafts, dental implants, and more. It can also promote healing following cosmetic surgery procedures. Strategically injected, PRF can be placed anywhere on the face or body, which can then lead to an improvement in texture, tone, discoloration, and the overall health of your skin.
4. PRF CAN BE COMBINED WITH OTHER TREATMENTS FOR EVEN GREATER IMPROVEMENT.
A variety of different treatments are aimed at improving the appearance of the skin and help to achieve the younger skin. These treatments include dermal fillers, laser treatments, radio frequency, and microneedling. All of these treatments offer their own unique benefits.
Even different fillers have different properties that make them unique. PRF can be used with any combination of these treatments in order to provide greater improvement and help patients to achieve their specific goals.
PRF is a 100% pure blood product with higher concentrations of healing platelets versus PRP (platelet rich plasma). And it releases growth factors over a longer period of time. PRF is a unique treatment in that it uses body’s own healing cells for more youthful skin.
Offering Platelet Rich Fibrin (PRF) therapies for your practice is a natural progression of services needed for a successful aesthetic practice as the popularity of these procedures has skyrocketed.
Platelet rich fibrin is a natural substance derived from the blood. This substance contains a high volume of leukocytes (white blood cells), platelets, and fibrin, three of the most important building blocks of natural wound healing and tissue regeneration. PRF is collected from the patient’s own blood sample and reinjected into areas of the face for dynamic skin rejuvenation.
Reimbursement for aesthetic applications average £300 per treatment and can easily be incorporated with your other aesthetic offerings. The cost to incorporate PRF within your practice is relatively small while the return on investment is as little as two patients total. Patient satisfaction concerning this new procedure is very high because of the results received.
We welcome, doctors, nurses, dentists and prescribing pharmacists onto the course.
We are also one of the only providers of this course to be able to offer the training to non-medical students.
It will be your own responsibility to arrange your insurance for practice.
If you are a non-medical student your career choice will most likely be supporting the medical staff in their practice until you are fully qualified. With us you will learn the same theory and practical skills in obtaining the blood samples, centrifuge and extracting the PRF.
Delegates are invited to bring a model with them for the practical session. We can provide models for those who are unable to provide their own.
You will need skills in obtaining the venous blood sample; If you are not qualified as a phlebotomist then we also recommend attending the Phlebotomy Course. (nearest available on the 26 May 2018).
