Advanced PDO Threads Training
LONDON's ONLY - Advanced PDO Threads Training Course for both medical and non-medical students!

Booking this ONE DAY course takes our students to the next level in PDO Threading. Throughout the course you will look at the theory behind PDO Threads and will be given the opportunity to develop your practical skills using the most up to date techniques and equipment. You will receive the Certificate of Completion.

PDO threads are highly effective in producing large amounts of collagen and preventing as well as improving early to moderate skin laxity, previously the domain of only plastic surgeons. This open a whole new demographic of younger clients looking for early intervention for facial ptosis as well as those with advance ptosis who wish not to consider surgical options.
On our exclusive Platinum PDO threads course you will learn how to do the following:

Face Lift and Breast Lift

Also Knee Lift and Bum lift (subject to students providing own models)

It’s an easy procedure that does not require any surgical skills. No scalpel, no anaesthesia (numbing cream recommended), no downtime = happy patients!

Polydioxanone: Absorbable Material

Polydioxanone is used for biomedical applications, particularly in cardiothoracic surgery because it is fully absorbed by hydrolysis within 4 to 6 months and doesn’t create any scar tissue. The foreign body stimulates collagen synthesis and the skin structure created will hold for another 12 to 15 months.
PDO, PLLA, and PCL are all names of different types of materials. These have been made into threads because they have high tensile strength, and are inert, so that they do not cause problems with excessive inflammation.

Restoring The V-shape

A beautiful and healthy face has a “V-shape”. With the ageing of tissues and the action of gravity, this “V-shape” diminishes or inverts.

The idea behind the PDO technique is to either create a scaffolding in order to support the tissues and keep them in the “V-shape” or where necessary to delicately lift the tissues and reposition the skin to recreate the “V-shape” where it’s been lost.

Our PDO training courses focus on understanding the principles behind collagen stimulation and how to incorporate PDO threads in your practice for anti-ageing combining other modalities such as botulinum toxin, dermal fillers, PRP and micro-needling for a better overall treatment plan for your patients targeting all the skin layers and aspects of ageing.

Is PDO Thread Lift Safe? What are the Possible Side Effects?

This treatment is surprisingly safe. Compared to fillers, the side effects are, in fact, much milder (fillers can even cause skin death and blindness). Because PDO threads are inserted via needles and not surgery, and are absorbed in 6-8 months, many of the side effects associated with older thread lifting procedures, such as infection and thread breakage are also minimised.

Combining treatments

The PDO Thread lift can be combined with other treatments such as HIFU or Ulthera to give a natural lifting result.

It works particularly well with bio-stimulating fillers such as Radiesse and Hyaluronic Acid fillers – to provide a comprehensive anti-aging solution which now allows us to turn back the clock for our patients, like never before, without surgery.
We welcome, doctors, nurses, dentists and prescribing pharmacists onto the course.
We are also one of the only providers of this course to be able to offer the training to non-medical students.
This course necessitates you to bring your own model. Please note if you wish to be trained on a specific treatment area then please ensure you bring a model as we cannot guarantee that other students' models require such treatment.
